Travis Hettick, Program Administrator

Travis began as a Shift Supervisor for RYO in November 2002,
then moved into the position of Chief of Security, and was then appointed as
the Deputy Director of Security in Spring 2007, before his October 27, 2007
appointment as RYO's Program Administrator. He earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Montana Tech of the
University of Montana in Butte, Montana. He has also completed
extensive training in safety and security issues within a correctional
facility.
Deeanna Hoffman-Queer, Deputy Director of Operations

Deeanna started as a security officer with RYO in November 2002, then moved
on as a Shift Leader before taking the combined position as RYO's
Special Education Teacher and Case Manager for the county offenders.
In Fall 2006, she was appointed as the Principal and, in Spring 2007,
was promoted to the Chief of Security position. She was promoted
to her current position as Deputy Director of Operation in Fall 2007. She holds a Bachelor of
Science in Secondary Education from the University of Montana at Dillon,
formerly the Western Montana College.
Barbara E. Kelly, Clinical Treatment Director

Barbara came on board with RYO in December 2004.
Her previous employment includes working in ICU/CCU, obstetrics, an
emergency room, a correctional setting, a psychiatric hospital, and she also
worked as a hospital nursing supervisor. Additionally, she served as
the Clinical Therapist for a school-based day treatment setting for four
years. She has earned the following degrees: Registered Nurse from St.
Patrick School of Nursing, Missoula, Montana; Bachelor of Science in Human
Services from the University of Great Falls, Great Falls, Montana; Master of
Professional Counseling from the University of Great Falls, Great Falls,
Montana; Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology -- with specialization in
Clinical Psychology -- from Capella University, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Barbara also holds Licensures in Nursing and Clinical Professional Counseling
in both Kansas and Montana. She specializes in clinical psychology
with child, adolescent, and family emphasis. Barbara was born in
Wisconsin and raised in the northwestern mountains of Montana. She is a
member of the American Psychological Association, Ladies Ancient Order of
Hibernians, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Veterans of Foreign Wars
Auxiliary, and the Anaconda Catholic Community. Barbara enjoys
spending time with her husband of 35+ years and their four children.
Gary Mullaney, Physical Plant Manger

Gary was hired as RYO's Physical Plant Manger on September 10, 2007.
He brings a wealth of
hands-on construction and carpentry experience, having
previously been the Construction Superintendent for Swank Enterprises
during which time he was actively involved in the construction phase of
RYO. Gary worked for 4 years as a carpenter apprentice, was in
quality control for the Corp. of Engineers, and the operator of heavy
equipment. Additionally, he has received special vocational
training for small engine repair and has 40 hours of OSHA training.
John

John has been with CCCS since January 1994. He coordinates the resident disciplinary process
for
the men's and women's centers, as well as the Connections and RYO programs. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a
Social Justice option from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana.
Chris Quigley, Sexual Offender Therapist; Licensed
Addiction Counselor

Prior to coming to RYO in November 2002, Chris had a private practice where
he offered sex offender evaluations and intensive outpatient treatment
services for adults and adolescent clients. He was also the
former director of sex offender treatment programming at Montana State
Prison. He earned a Bachelor's of Social Work with a minor in Native
American Studies from the University of Montana - Missoula, and a
Master's of Social Work from Walla Walla College in Walla Walla, Washington.
Chris has received training in ABEL Sexual Interest Screening and in HARE
Psychopathic Testing.
Cheryl Canfield, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Cheryl began her employment as a Licensed
Addictions Counselor at RYO in March 2005. She previously worked
with Native American adjudicated youth at Swan Valley Youth Academy.
She was also a Adolescent Counselor with Lake County Chemical
Dependency, a board member and facilitator for the Flathead Reservation
and Lake County Coalition for Kids, and she implemented a prevention
program for naval personnel in Guam and at Yellowstone Treatment Center.
Cheryl has a Bachelors' degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling from
Salish Kootenai College and a BS from the University of the Philippines.
Kirk Walker, Case Manager

Kirk joined CCCS in October 2007. Prior to that, he worked as a
teacher. Kirk earned his Bachelor's in Elementary Education at the
University of Montana, and his Master's in Technology in Education at Lesley
University in Cambridge, MA.
Mark Dennehy, Case Manager

Mark came on board in November 2005. He previously
worked as a salesman for Summit Beverages. He earned a Bachelors in
Sociology from Utah State in Logan, Utah.
Bryn
Smith, Registered Nurse
Bryn was hired on November 11, 2005 as an RN for START. She was
previously employed for nearly three years as an RN at the Montana State
Hospital. Bryn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing degree from the
Jamestown College in Jamestown, North Dakota.
Dawn Ann Ogrin-Peterson, Principal

Dawn has been with RYO since November 2002. As the
Principal of RYO's education department, she oversees the delivery systems
and manages seven other teachers. Prior to that, Dawn was employed as the
Educational Coordinator at the Brown Schools of Montana. Dawn received
a Bachelor's from the University of Montana at Dillon, formerly Western
Montana College, and a Master's in Educational Leadership from the Montana
State University in Bozeman, Montana. She enjoys spending time with
her husband and four children.
Katie English, Secondary Teacher

Katie came on board in September 2002, and prior to her current position at
RYO, Katie worked at both the
Women's and Men's Pre-Release Centers. She previously was a
sixth-grade school teacher. Katie earned her Bachelor's in
History/Political Science with emphasis in Elementary Education and Middle
School Endorsement from Jamestown College in Jamestown, North Dakota.
Dan Donovan, Employment/Vocational Instructor

Dan joined CCCS on September 4, 2007.
His primary task is to work with the RYO staff in continuing to develop and
expand vocational and employment opportunities for the youthful offenders at
RYO. Dan brings a tremendous amount of hands-on construction and
carpentry experience, having been the owner and operator of Donovan
Construction since 1968. He has worked on housing and commercial projects
for a number of builders and developers in the Colorado area. Dan has
also worked as a trades instructor at Lookout Mountain, a maximum security
prison for juveniles in Golden, Colorado from 1999 through 2002. He
earned his teaching certification from Colorado State University School of
Education.
Justin Hardy, Juvenile Correctional Officer

Justin came to RYO in September 2003. Prior to coming on board, Justin
worked at a television station and retail store. Justin received Associate
degrees in Science and in Arts from the University of North Dakota in
Williston, North Dakota. He was born in Chicago, IL, raised in Maryland, and
lived in Germany, North Dakota, and Montana, where he moved to in his
Sophomore year to attend Butte High School. Justin was formerly
Assistant Coach for the men's Basketball team at the University of North
Dakota in Williston, ND, and the Assistant Coach of the women's Fastball
team at Minot State, ND.
Dennis Bugni, Juvenile Correctional Officer Shift Supervisor

Dennis began his employment with RYO in June 2003. He has
completed extensive Montana Law Enforcement Academy (MLEA) juvenile
corrections training. He loves to coach any sport.
Valerie Elmose, Juvenile Correctional Officer Shift Supervisor

Valerie has been with RYO since November 2002 and brings with her 13 years of experience
in the mental health field. She was previously employed as a Staff
Coordinator at Evergreen Health Care, a Case Manager at Brown Schools of
Montana, a Purchasing Agent for the State of Ohio, a Case Manager for
Children's Acute Care, and a Psychiatric Programmer for the Dayton Mental
Health Center. Valerie studied Psychology for two years at the Sinclair
Community College in Dayton, Ohio and has had extensive training in Sex
Offender Treatment for both offenders and victims.
Richie O'Brien,

Richie began his employment in August 2004 working security at the
juvenile RYO Correctional facility. Prior to that, he worked
security at Montana State Prison. He graduated in 2003 from the
Montana Law Enforcement Academy for corrections and detention officers.
He has been involved in coaching football for 5 years, ranging from the
junior high level to the high school varsity level. Richie started
coaching at Butte Central High School, and is now the offensive and
defensive line coach at Anaconda High School.
William Wohlers, Chaplain

Chaplain Wohlers came to CCCS in March 2002 with over of
20 years of experience in ministering to correctional populations.
Obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Religion from Evangelical College,
he then went on to obtain a Master’s in Theology from Trinity
Theological Seminary and a Master’s of Arts in Pastoral Care from Faith
Evangelical Lutheran Seminary.
