The Badlands Recovery Center is a short-term evidence-based inpatient treatment program that provides addiction and mental health services. The services are delivered by our professional counseling and addiction specialists to assist you in your recovery. The center is located in Eastern Montana in the community of Glendive. It is surrounded by Montana’s largest state park, the badlands of Makoshika.

Badlands is a team of individuals dedicated to meeting the human service needs of adults to promote healthy living through treatment and personal growth.

Badlands is a recovery center built to change lives by providing therapeutic services that are individualized to a person’s needs.

Our program and facility consist of features that will help clients toward a healthy lifestyle, personal growth and long-term recovery. We want to see clients succeed and believe these features will assist them in building that future. Our program utilizes evidence-based curriculums:

• Individual and group substance abuse therapy

• Supplemental transportation

• Home cooked meals
• Salad bar option for lunch and dinner

 

EMDR is Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, a unique and effective approach to treating trauma. This therapy focuses on reconnecting the client in a safe environment by allowing the brain to use its natural healing powers to move toward resolutions with the images, self-thoughts, emotions and sensations associated with the trauma.

Seeing people achieve their goals in the process of recovery is our number one priority. We want our clients to be successful in developing a full comprehensive understanding of resources to assist in long-term recovery. Goals we want to see clients achieve are:

• Build a solid support system
• Promote a healthy lifestyle
• Find fulfillment in their daily life activities
• Allow connection with family and their community

 

A dedicated team of staff distinguished by both education and experience provide services at Badlands Recovery Center. CCCS has carefully selected a diverse, professional staff to ensure residents receive the most effective environment for correctional programming and community transitional services.

Supplemental Transportation is a service offered to clients who are unable to secure and pay for transportation to and from the program. These services may be provided to you upon request.
