Marcie has been with CCCS, Inc. since 2002 and moved to Nexus as the administrator in September 2010, after spending 8 years as the
Program Administrator of the Bismarck Transition Center. Prior to
that, Marcie was the Administrator for the Stutsman County
Correction Center for 14 years.
She has also been employed as the Corrections Manager in The Dalles, Oregon; a Corrections Sergeant in Colorado, North Dakota;
and past road deputy in North Dakota. Marcie has a Master's in Public Administration from the University of North Dakota and
has a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Minot State University. She has 35 years of experience in Law Enforcement and was a
certified Correctional Officer and Law Enforcement Trainer in North Dakota. Marcie was involved in the Bismarck-Mandan
Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Bismarck. She is a Past-President of ND Peace Officers Association, United Way Board
of Director and YMCA Board. She was born in West Virginia and raised in North Dakota.
Howard F. Lamley, Clinical Director

Howard joined CCCS on September 28, 2009 and brings with him over 17
years in the mental health area for Community Corrections. Prior to
coming to Montana, Howard held a specialized Probation and Parole position
in Oregon, in which he supervised a psychiatric/dually diagnosed case load
of offenders for five years. Prior to his position in Oregon, Howard
interned in Wyoming and was also employed by the DOC as a Mental Health
Professional. He has
earned a BS in Administration of Justice, a MA in Sociology, and a PhD in
Counseling, Education, and Supervision. Howard has special training in
Critical Incident Stress Management, National Organization Victim
Assistance, Trained Crisis Responder, and Hostage Negotiation. He
enjoys archery big game and upland bird hunting, fishing, cooking and
geology. He is active in the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Connie Simonich, Administrative Assistant

Connie started working at NEXUS on September 20, 2007. She previously worked as a supervisor at Snowy Mountain Industries,
a sheltered workshop for adults with developmental disabilities. She is
trained in DDCPT, MANDT, Critical Incident and Reporting, CPR, and First
Aid. She enjoys weaving, spinning, knitting, and spending time with
her grandchildren. She served on the Board of Directors of S.A.V.E.S.
for 15 years.
Patti Petersen, Accounting
Technician

Patti joined the NEXUS program on May
7, 2007 as an Administrative Support Technician. She previously worked for 7 years in the Accounts Payable Department
at Sports, Inc. in Lewistown. Patti received her
Associate Degree in Medical Assisting from Bryman Medical School in Phoenix,
Arizona. She recently completed the construction of her new home,
working "hands-on" for the eleven months it took to build it. Most of
her time is consumed by her three children and their activities.
John d'Autremont, Facilities Manager

John started working with NEXUS on May 1, 2007. He previously worked
in maintenance at the Montana State Homes for the Aged and at School
District #1, and he also worked as an Apprentice Plumber. John has a
Second Class Boilers License and a Weed Spraying License. He served as
Booster Club President, Museum Board Member, and Zion Church Council Member.
John was involved in both youth baseball/softball and adult softball, serving
as president in both organizations. He was also a league coach and
all-star team head coach in both boys and girls softball. John was
chairman of the building committee that built the softball complex.
John is currently a board member for Pine Meadows Golf Course. He
attended Eastern Montana College where he lettered in Golf for three years.
He is a volunteer golf coach for the high school. His spare time is
spent with family, friends and, most recently, his granddaughter.
Rick Barman, Chief of Security

Rick joined NEXUS on March 7, 2007. He previously worked as the Chief of Security at North Central Corrections
and Rehabilitation Center in Rugby, North Dakota, and as a Captain with the North Dakota Department of
Corrections. ;Rick earned a Bachelor's in Criminal
Justice. He has special training in PREA, Leadership, and Security.
He served 12 years in the US Navy, and enjoys spending time with his family.
Linda
Nottingham, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Linda was hired in November 2005 as a Licensed Addiction Counselor for the
WATCh program, and then she transferred to the NEXUS program upon its
inception. She earned her Associate's degree in
Human Services with an Addiction Treatment Option at Stone Child College in
Rocky Boy, Montana, where she graduated valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA, then
went on to receive -- in just three years -- her Bachelor's in Psychology
with addiction treatment concentration at the University of Great Falls, in
Great Falls, Montana. Linda was among the first five women
to work underground in the hard rock mines in the United States. She
worked at Bunker Hill Mine in Kellogg, Idaho until the mines closed.
Derek Gibbs, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Derek began working at NEXUS in October 2007. Prior to that, he worked as a crane operator
for the petroleum refining industry and as a rancher. Derek
received his Addiction Counseling degree at the
University of Great Falls and obtained licensure in July 2009. Derek
is currently pursuing an additional degree in Behavioral Science. He is actively involved in community
12-step work and is a WATCh Program graduate. He enjoys spending time with
his family, hunting,
fishing, and has a passion for drag racing.
Merle Yellow Kidney, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Merle began his employment with the WATCh
Program in June 2003, and was instrumental in helping develop
programming for WATCh's Native American Population. Merle
is a Licensed Addiction Counselor, and has been a counselor for over 24
years. His previous work experience includes inpatient, outpatient,
halfway house and detoxification programs throughout the state of
Montana.
Jeanette Snodgrass, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Jeanette joined NEXUS on November 28, 2011. She brings with her 12 years of experience working in Addiction Counseling.
Jeanette earned her degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling from the
University of Great Falls in Great Falls, Montana. She also has 12 years
of extension training in methamphetamine addiction counseling,
co-occurring addictions, and mental health disorders. She enjoys
geology, birds, studying wild plants, and is a published writer.
She has been very involved in sports for her self and two daughters.
Jeanette also loves to fish and hunt.
Rachelle Poser, Mental Health Professional

Rachelle began working for NEXUS in 2009 as an Intake/Aftercare
Coordinator. She resigned to focus on graduate school, returned
to do her internship in mental health in January 2011, and was hired as the Mental Health Professional in December 2011.
Rachelle earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education/Teaching
Psychology and a Master's degree in Mental Health & Rehabilitation
Counseling both from Montana State University - Billings.
She previously was employed as a Social Worker/ER Trauma Counselor at
Central Montana Medical Center, and as a Therapist with severely
emotionally disturbed youth. Rachelle is trained in Critical and
volunteers as a mental health professional on the Tri-County CISM team,
serving Fergus, Judith Basin and Petroleum counties in time of crisis
and trauma. She is a horse enthusiast who has been riding horses
since the age of 3, and enjoys barrel racing and rodeo. In her
spare time, she tries to fit in as much hiking, camping, and skiing as
possible.
Kar Conner, Intake/Aftercare Coordinator

Kar joined the Nexus Program in April 2010. While in college, she worked at the University of Montana's Alumni Association
and as a nanny. Kar also worked as a substitute teacher and coached high school girl's "C" squad. She earned her
Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Montana - Missoula, Montana. In her spare
time Kar coaches and referees youth soccer, volleyball, and basketball, grades 1
through 6, and high school girls. She has also helped
coordinate youth volleyball and basketball programs.
Perry Brzezinski, Life Skills Coordinator

Perry joined Nexus in May 2007. He was previously the Operations
Director with the local radio station in Lewistown, Montana. Perry
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Forestry from the
University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and has also completed masters
coursework in Urban Forestry from the University of
Wisconsin - Madison. He is a master gardener and
former member of the local Job Service Employers Committee, which
organizes training for business operators and/or employees.
Additionally, Perry volunteers in running the Lewistown Art Center's
"After school art program." In his spare time, Perry advises people on
their tree/landscape questions, takes care of his pointing bird dogs,
and catches as many fish as he can.
Tim Roane, Case Manager

Tim joined NEXUS in May 2007 as a Security Technician. Prior to that, he worked for 2+ years as a Correctional
Officer at the Montana Women's Prison and 2 years at the Crossroads
Correctional Center in Shelby, Montana. Tim earned a bachelor's degree in Information Systems at the University of Montana - Billings
in Billings, Montana. He is a graduate of the Montana Correctional,
Detention Officer Basic Training from the Montana Law Enforcement
Academy. He is also a graduate and was present at the start of the Therapeutic Community Concept at the Montana
Women's prison and at
NEXUS. Additionally, he served two years in the United States Navy
Communications/Electronics Mate. In his spare time, he's very
involved in local softball of all ages.
Michele Hodik, Case
Manager

Michele came on board in June 2010. She earned an Bachelor of
Science degree from the Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana.
Michele previously worked at a bank for three years while finishing
college in Bozeman. She completed wildland firefighter basic
course for a wildland fire season. Additionally, she completed a
911 communications officer course at the Montana Law Enforcement
Academy. Michel has been involved with the Law Enforcement Torch
Run for Special Olympics fundraising and has been involved with the
Relay for Life Cancer fundraising. She enjoys running, camping,
riding bikes and spending time with family.
Russell Snell, Counselor Tech

Russell joined Nexus in March 2011. Prior to that, he worked at the
Great Falls Rescue Mission overseeing the discipleship program, where he
worked with men who were addicted to drugs and alcohol.
He also spent 25 years in one form of law enforcement or another, military and civilian, including the California
Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer, and at the Cascade County Sheriff's Office as a
Detention Officer. Russell is also an Ordained Minister with the Church of God.
McKenna Sheridan, Counselor Tech

McKenna came on board at NEXUS in March 2011. Born and raised in Billings, she attended Montana State
University - Billings and the University of Montana - Bozeman before moving to Portland,
Oregon where
she earned her Bachelor's in Finance. After living by-coastal from New York City, NY to San Francisco, CA, she
returned home to Montana from Las Vegas, NV. With a passion for people and solutions, McKenna brings with
her contagious enthusiasm for change and ignites motivation for pro-social living wherever she is.
