Community, Counseling, and Correctional Services, Inc. (CCCS)
CCCS Inc. has operated the Martin Hall Juvenile Detention Facility since November 1999. Martin Hall is located on the campus of Eastern State Washington Hospital in Medical Lake Washington, some 15 miles southwest of Spokane Washington. The member counties are Adams, Asotin, Douglas, Ferry, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens and Whitman Counties. In addition, Martin Hall provides detention services to five Native American Tribes and one additional county. We also employ a variety of both in-house programs and programs which come from the county for the residents. The in-house programming ranges from Suicide Prevention, Victim Awareness, and Redirecting Stress/Anger Management to Job Readiness. One of our 20 programs available at Martin Hall is SafeT (Sexual Assault and Family Trauma Response Center). Counselors come to provide counseling for individuals who have experienced the traumatic effect of sexual abuse. Job Corp representatives also come to Martin Hall. Additionally, Alcohol, Tobacco and Drug programming is available to residents. Religious programs are provided for those who wish to attend. Martin Hall takes great pride in providing a long list of educational and informational programming for the residents.

Martin Hall has transport contracts with 5 of the 9 counties that it serves: Adams, Asotin, Douglas, Pend Oreille and Stevens counties.
During the past year Martin Hall transporters drove some 100,505 miles and provided 530 transports to these counties. Martin Hall utilizes several community organizations to provide
programs that assist residents in making good decisions. The Economic Family Formation is a not-for-profit organization started
in 1981 for the specific purpose of providing adolescents and their families with skills to cope with the challenges of being a
young adult in today’s society. The programs provided by Economic Family Formation include Life Skills, Say What You Mean, and a
communication skills program. Another community organization that provides programs for the residents at Martin Hall is Planned Parenthood.
The Making Positive Choices Program provided by Planned Parenthood is well received by the residents. Other outside groups that provide programs
include Spokane County Regional Health District, Prisoners for Christ and Carpenter Tools International. Martin Hall has a Volunteer Chaplin, Larry Heihn, who has provided Chaplin services
to Martin Hall Detention Center since February 2000. Sister Mytra, also a Volunteer Chaplin, has provided Spanish services since 1999. HOME
