TITLE:

Maintenance Technician

STATUS:

Part-time

PROGRAM:

Martin Hall Juvenile Detention Facility, Medicine Lake, WA

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 

1.     Reviews and implements CCCS, Inc. security and control policies and procedures including but not limited to the following: contraband control; inventory control; personal and physical plant searches; key, tool, and equipment control; and facility and vehicle inspections.

2.      Reviews and implements CCCS, Inc. safety and emergency policies and procedures including, but not limited to the following: fire safety, flammable, toxic, and caustic materials, emergency plans, evacuation drills, and threats to security.

3.      Performs maintenance and repair functions as directed. This responsibility also includes performance of regular maintenance inspections and reporting the results.

4.      Facilitates and manages sanitation and hygiene policies and procedures.

5.      Attends staff and program meetings as required by supervisory staff and CCCS, Inc. corporate policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
 

1.       Strong organizational skills.

2.       Ability to work with the public and co-workers professionally and tactfully.

3.       Good physical condition to handle the physical labor required.

Qualifications:

1.       One year experience in facility maintenance field.

2.       Valid Drivers License.

HOURS OF WORK

This is a part time position that may be combined with another position to make a full time appointment.

STARTING SALARY

The salary is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
