Carole Kovacich, Program Director

Carole has been affiliated with Discovery House for the past 30 years.
On June 1, 1993, she was hired to serve as the co-director along with
founder Sister Gilmary Vaughan, a Sinsinawa Dominican nun. Prior to
Carole's many
years with Discovery House, she worked as the Religious Education Director for
the Anaconda Catholic Community. She's completed a myriad of studies, workshops,
and seminars in both religious and educational training. Through her personal
dedication and commitment, Discovery House has survived its many financial
ups and downs.
Tina Masters, Tutor

Tina began her employment with Discovery House in January 2004. She was
previously a preschool and substitute teacher.
Tina has taken numerous extension classes in working with teens and younger
children, and has worked with middle school and high school students for
over 20 years.
Eva Riddle, Child Care Attendant

Prior to coming on board at Discovery House in July 2006, Eva worked at the
Anaconda Job Corps in the Health Service area for 10 years. She's
completed training in CPR, First Aid, and stress reduction techniques.
Carol McGrath, Child Care Attendant

Carol began her employment at Discovery House on November 11, 2000.
She has training in CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, MANDT, H.E.L.P., and
has completed other workshops in communication and education.
Patricia Lemmon, Child Care Attendant

Patricia has been employed at Discovery House since November 1995. She
previously worked at the Montana Chemical Dependency Center and the
Lighthouse Drug Program. Patricia has received training in ServSafe,
CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, MANDT, H.E.L.P., and has taken other
workshops in communication, education, stress reduction and dealing with
dyslexic children. She has raised 14 children of her own.
Cathy Ledford, Child Care Attendant

Prior to her coming on board October 21, 2002, Cathy worked at the Community
Hospital in Anaconda. She has also worked with disabled adults and
children at the Boulder River School and Hospital. She has received
training in OSHA blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care,
MANDT, ServSafe, and H.E.L.P. Additionally, Cathy has completed
courses in bullying, harassment, and intimidation.
Denise Garner, Child Care Attendant

Denise has been employed at Discovery House since August 2002. She's
completed training in CPR, First Aid, MANDT, and H.E.L.P. Denise has
also taken courses on methamphetamine use in the community and how to stop
bullying behavior.
Virginia Berryman, Child Care Attendant

Virginia began her employment at Discovery House in August 2007. She
previously worked at Albertson's, the Federal Bureau of Investigation,
Animal Hospital, and has also provided daycare. Virginia received her
education for child care through Butte's 4C's. She enjoys tole
painting and spending time at her Wise River cabin, which has been in her
family for 70 years, and with her children.
Pamela Wilhelm, Child Care Attendant

Pamela has been with Discovery House since July 18, 2007. She was
previously employed at MacIntyre's clothing store for 16 years and also
worked at Southwest Federal Credit Union.
