Linda Rogers, Clinical Treatment Supervisor

Linda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Technology with an emphasis in Human Values from the Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte, Montana, and is a certified chemical dependency counselor.  She began her employment with CCCS in June 1992.  Prior to joining the CCP staff, Linda worked as a chemical dependency counselor at the Butte Pre-Release and the Women's Transition Center. Adding to her experience is her work as a chemical dependency counselor at Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge.  Linda has over 17 years of experience working as a counselor.  Since 1992, she has been a member of the Butte Silver Bow Health Department Board.

Joe Berger, Client Technician Coordinator

Joe has been with CCCS since April 1998.  He was previously employed for 20+ years with Buttery's Foods as an Assistant Meat Manager and was also a substitute teacher.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education at the University of Montana in Dillon, formerly known as Western Montana College.  Joe has over twenty years of supervisory experience.  He enjoys hunting, fishing and sports, and was born and raised in Butte, MT.

John Pellegrini, Administrative Hearings Officer

John Pellegrini has been with CCCS since January 1994.  He coordinates the resident disciplinary process for the men's and women's centers, as well as the Connections and RYO programs.   John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a Social Justice option from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT.  John was raised in Anaconda, MT where he still resides.

Lisa Miller, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Lisa has worked at CCCS for since October 1997.  She was previously a bookkeeper and office manager until being hired as a Resident Assistant at the Women's Transition Center.  Lisa transferred to CCP as a Counselor Technician, and then was promoted to an Addiction Counselor position.  She earned an Associate's with high academic honors in Addiction Counseling from the University of Great Falls, in Great Falls, MT and a Bachelor's with high academic honors in Liberal Studies from Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte, MT.  She plans to attend graduate school at the University of Montana, where she will work for a Master's in Social Work.

Joe Boyle, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Joe Boyle works with out-patient clients and assists with assessments and intakes at CCP.  Joe has been employed with CCCS since 1983 and has an unparalleled understanding of chemical dependency treatment as well as the Montana correctional system.

Ron Nelson, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Ron began with CCP in 2000, prior to which he worked as a union laborer.  Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, English and History minor from the University of Montana at Dillon, formerly Western Montana College.  He is currently taking classes at Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte, MT, working towards licensure in addiction counseling.  He has also received special training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Principle & Restructuring (CP&R).

Becky Rolich, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Becky began working at the Corrections Corrections Butte in March 2001, and then transferred to the CCP-West program when it opened in 2005.  In January 2007, she returned back to CCP-Butte. Prior to that, she worked as a Licensed Addiction Counselor at Butte Silver Bow Chemical Dependency Services.  Becky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from the University of Montana at Billings, formerly Eastern Montana College. As part of her counseling position, she is approved to supervise interns. 

Larry Hogan, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Larry joined CCCS as a Resident Assistant at the men's pre-release center in 1993. He previously worked at the Rivendell Hospital as an Adolescent Counselor. Larry was promoted to a Counselor Technician at CCP, where he worked until 2001. He then transferred back to the men's center and worked with the Juvenile Programs including Anger Management and Character Development.  In December 2003, he was advanced to Shift Leader at the RYO Program.  While working there, Larry attended Montana Tech of the University of Montana, where he earned a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Addiction Counseling.  He transferred back to CCP in May 2006, and attained his license in October 2007. 

Bob Freeman, Shift Supervisor

With over 20 years of previous supervisory experience, Bob began working with CCCS in July 2002.  During his employment with CCCS, he has taught courses in Anger Management, Thinking for a Change, and Relaxation.  In addition, he holds certificates in CPR and First Aid.

Barbara Osman, Counselor Technician

Barbara has been with CCP since January 2001.  Prior to coming here, she worked as a travel agent and traveled to England, Egypt, Hawaii, the Caymen Islands and St. Martin, as well as extensive travel throughout the U.S.  She has attended numerous travel and computer schools.  Barbara also works part time for Easter Seals Home Health Care as a Personal Care Aide for the elderly, for which she achieved the required training including seizures, dementia, and safety procedures.

Dawn Holter, Addiction Counselor

Dawn joined CCCS on July 15, 2000, and prior to her current position worked as a Shift Supervisor at CCP. She is currently working towards her degree in addictions counseling and will graduate in May 2006.  She has received special training in DBT.  Dawn was born and raised in Butte. 

Beverly Welo, LAC/Aftercare Addiction Counselor

Beverly started with the WATCh Program in May 2002 before coming to the CCP program.  Prior to coming to the WATCh Program, Beverly had over 12 years experience as an addiction and sex offender counselor in Minnesota at the Lino Lakes Prison.  Beverly obtained her Bachelor's degree from St. Catherine’s College and is a Licensed Addiction Counselor in Montana.  She has additionally authored three books which deal with counseling issues for correctional populations and are currently in publication.

Chris started at CCP in June 2004.  She was previously employed as a substitute teacher for the Butte School District and was the owner/operator of a small day care/pre-school.  Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Montana at Dillon, formerly known as Western Montana College. 

Sheila Johnson, Registered Nurse

Sheila began her employment with CCCS as a Registered Nurse at the WATCh program.  She previously worked at St. James Hospital for nearly four years.  In addition, she spent four years in the Navy as a Medical Corpsman and is a 2002 graduate of Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte, Montana.

Geri Mihelich, Administrative Support Technician

Geri provides administrative support for CCP and joined CCCS in 1996.  Prior to coming on board here, she was a school teacher for several years and a legal assistant and office manager for a real estate appraiser.  Geri has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Special Education from the University of Montana at Billings, formerly Eastern Montana College.  She was born and raised in Butte. 

Lori Verrall, Food Service Coordinator

Lori came to CCCS in November 1997 with a 17-year career in Food Service at the Crest Nursing home. In her position, she is responsible for the operation of the Butte-based cafeteria, which provides meals for the men's and women's pre-release centers, the Connections Corrections Program, and the START Program. Her duties also include assisting with the set-up and operation of the cafeterias located at CCCS' other facilities. Additionally, Lori and her staff have donated food for the Relay for Life, an annual fundraiser by the American Cancer Society, lunches for the Special Olympics and for the Butte Wrestling Club, and refreshments for Butte's annual Christmas Stroll.  Lori is certified as a Dietary Manager through the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She also receives annual certification from Serve Safe of the National Restaurant Association.

Loren Johnston, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Loren came on board in March 2005.  He brings a wealth of addictions counseling experience having been a Licensed Addictions Counselor for over 20 years.  Loren has worked in Minnesota and Montana.

Dan Oberweiser, Licensed Addiction Counselor

Dan has been with the WATCh Program since May 2002 and has over 15 years of experience as a counselor working with correctional populations.  Prior to coming to the WATCh Program, Dan was a counselor at the Montana State Prison for 12 years and worked in all phases of their addiction programming.  Dan has received specialized training on the criminal personality from Dr. Stanton Samenow, who is one of the pioneers in this field.

Randal McIntyre, Licensed Eligible Counselor

Randal originally began his employment with CCCS in January 2002 working as a Counselor Technician at the WATCh program until December 2003.  He was then employed as a Case Manager with the Anaconda Job Service.  Randal was re-hired at WATCh on August 4, 2007 as an LEC.  He earned his Bachelor's in Public Administration from Montana State University, and participated in graduate studies in Rehab Counseling at MSU - Billings.  He has completed numerous trainings in alcohol and other drug prevention/intervention and addiction treatment at the Community Crime Prevention Council and Rimrock Foundation at Billings.  He serves on the Boards of the Copper Village Museum and Arts Center and the Anaconda Coalition for Tolerance Education, and is a supporting member of Ducks Unlimited and the Nature Conservancy.

Sonia Chessin, Addiction Counselor

Sonia came on board May 14, 2007.  She previously worked at Walla Walla College and interned at Providence Center in Missoula.  Sonia earned a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts from the University of Montana - Missoula, a Master's in Social Work from Walla Walla College in Missoula, and is working towards achieving licensure.  She has received special training in Brief, Trauma, and Emotive Therapies.  She enjoys playing music, hiking, doing yoga, and reading.

Jeni Nichols, Addiction Counselor

Jeni began working at CCCS on October 8, 2007. Prior to coming on board, she managed a business in Great Falls for the past ten years.  Jeni earned a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice with a minor in Addiction Counseling from the University of Great Falls.  She worked on a committee for three years helping first-time youthful offenders stay out of the court systems and out of trouble.  Jeni was born and raised in Butte, and has returned after a 13 year absence.

Joe began his employment at the WATCh Program in June 2002 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge from a diverse background.  Joe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration  from the University of Montana and worked for numerous years within the insurance field.  Joe then went on to obtain his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and was employed as a teacher for two years prior to joining WATCh.

Dave Coleman, Case Manager

Dave began his employment with CCCS in January 2007 as a Security Technician with the START program, and was promoted in September 2007 to a Case Manager at the CCP-West program.  He was previously a Program Manager at the Job Service for nearly 6 years.  Prior to that, he served 20 years active duty in the Navy, retiring in 1998.  Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte, Montana. He is currently the District 8 Commissioner of Butte Silver Bow County (BSB), and is also the Music Director UCC Butte.  Dave is a member of the following: B.P.O.E. Elks 240; Disabled American Veterans Chapter 6; American Legion Post 1; Veterans of Foreign Wars 1448; and the Marine Corps League.  He is also a Board Member of the following:  Butte Public Housing Authority; National Affordable Housing Network - Butte; BSB Fire Advisory Council (Vice-Chair); BSB Council Finance and Budge (Vice-Chair); BSB Council Judiciary (Chairman); BSB Democratic Central Committee (Chairman). 

C.J. Bugni, Security Coordinator

CJ has been with CCCS since October 1995 and was previously employed at the Butte Pre-Release Center prior to coming to the WATCh Program.  CJ attended North Idaho College and has been involved in numerous trainings throughout his 10+-year correctional employment.  He was born and raised in Butte and enjoys the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  He has also been working as the deputy coroner for 10 years in Silver Bow County.

Jack Powers, Education Specialist

Jack joined CCCS in November 2005. He previously worked as the Chief of Education and Habilitative Services at the Montana State Prison, Workfare Director for Butte Silver Bow County, YACC Director for the Bureau of Land Management, Superintendent of Schools, and Teacher/Coach.  Jack earned a Bachelors of Science in Education and a Masters of Education at the
The University of Montana - Western, formerly Western Montana College in Dillon, MT.  Butte born and raised, Jack has been Chairman of the Developmental Disabilities Council, which serves 11 counties, and also volunteers with the United Way.
